Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited (BCBL) Managing Director and CEO Md Tajul Islam and Bangladesh Bank (BB) Agriculture Credit Department Director Md Abul Kalam Azad exchanging documents after signing the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at BB conference room on Sunday Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited (BCBL) has signed a "participation agreement" with Bangladesh Bank (BB) to participate in a refinancing scheme of Tk 10 billion (1,000 crore) to increase the production of wheat and maize under the chairmanship of AKM Sajedur Rahman Khan, deputy governor of BB.
BCBL Managing Director and CEO Md Tajul Islam and BB Agriculture Credit Department Director Md Abul Kalam Azad signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at BB conference room on Sunday, said a press release.
Among others, Deputy Director of Agricultural Credit Division of BB Marzia Akhter, Joint Director Md Hasan Chishti, Deputy Managing Director-2 of BCBL Dr Md Abdul Kader, Head of SME Division Abdul Adud were also present on the occasion.
