Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR) held a workshop titled 'BTRI's role in biomedical research for improving the quality of public health and environment-2026' at the IFST Auditorium of BCSIR on Tuesday. Chairman of the Council Dr Samina Ahmed was present as the chief guest while Member (Development) Abul Fatah Md Baligur Rahman, Member (Finance) Md Toufiq-E-Leahi Chowdhury, Member (Administration) Md Iftikher Ahmed Chowdhury and Member (Science and Technology) Dr Mosa: Hosne Ara Begum were present as special guests. The workshop was presided over by BTRI Director Dr Md Abdus Satter Miah. More than 50 industrial organisations, including Square, Incepta, Acme and Nestle, and researchers and academics from various universities, attended the workshop.
