bdtickets launches up to Tk 0.1m travel insurance

bdtickets, country's online ticketing service, has launched up to Tk 0.1 million travel insurance for customers recently. The platform has brought the first ever 'COVID Travel Insurance' in Bangladesh in case a travelver gets affected by Covid-19 virus within seven

days of travel. Being the forerunner in the online ticketing industry, bdtickets has come up with 5 different coverages-Accidental Death Coverage, Natural Death Coverage, Accidental Hospitalization, Trauma Allowance and Covid travel insurance. The service can be availed if customers pay Tk 10 in premium per ticket with a 7 days insurance coverage period from the date of bus, launch or air journey as mentioned on the ticket.
