BEA felicitates Dr Yunus, other advisers

The Bangladesh Economic Association (BEA) has extended congratulations to Nobel Laureate Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus as the Chief Adviser and other advisers for taking the charge of the interim government, reports BSS.

The BEA believes that the interim government, under the prudent and dynamic leadership of Nobel peace prize winner renowned economist Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus, would be able to resolve the existing various socio-economic and political problems of the country and thus would be able to ensure public welfare oriented development, said a BEA press release signed by its president Dr Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad and general secretary Dr Md Ainul Islam.

It is mentionable that both Dr Muhammad Yunus and Dr Salehuddin Ahmed as being the lifelong members and working in the executive committee of the association in different times have made special contributions to various operations of the BEA for which the association is thankful to them.
