Bengal Windsor now in 'B' category

Bengal Windsor Thermoplastics will be placed in 'B' category from existing 'A' category on Monday for not declaring stipulated amount of dividend.

The company has approved 5.0 per cent for the year ended on June 30, 2018 following the recommendation by the board of directors.

A company has to recommend at least 10 per cent dividend for trading in category-A.

Bengal Windsor Thermoplastics has reported EPS of Tk. 1.53, NAV per share of Tk. 23.61 and NOCFPS of Tk. 3.43 for the year ended on June 30, 2018 as against Tk. 1.68, Tk. 22.08 and Tk. 3.23 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

The company's share price closed at Tk 29 each on Thursday with a loss of 1.36 per cent or Tk 0.40 on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

The company's sponsor-directors hold 58.91 per cent shares, institutions 26.98 per cent and general shareholders 14.10 per cent as of November 30, 2018.
