The 41st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Bangladesh General Insurance Company PLC (BGIC) was held on a virtual platform from the company's Head Office recently. Chairman of the company Towhid Samad presided over the meeting. BGIC, the first non-life insurance company in the private sector of Bangladesh, approved 11% cash dividend for the year 2025. The meeting was attended by Vice-Chairman Salim Bhuiyan, Public Director Md. Shakil Rizvi, Nominated Directors Mohammad Manjur Mahmud and A K M Mazharul Islam, Independent Directors Nasir Uddin Chowdhury and Priti Chakraborty, and Managing Director & CEO Ahmed Saifuddin Chowdhury along with senior officials and shareholders of the company. Saifuddin Ahmed, Additional Managing Director & Company Secretary, moderated the meeting.
