BIWTA gets new chairman

Commodore Arif Ahmed Mostafa joined Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) as its chairman on March 06.
He succeeded Commo-dore (now Rear Admiral) Gholam Sadek, said a press release.
The new BIWTA chairman was commissioned in Bangladesh Navy in 1992. After this, he gained experience from various command, training and staff officer positions in a distinguished career for 30 years.
Commodore Arif Ahmed Mustafa served as the director general of the Armed Forces Department. In addition, he also served the Civil Military Relationship Directorate, and the Navy Headquarters.
He completed his graduation from Chittagong University and post graduation in Military Studies from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).
