Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) conducted a lottery draw of the first phase of the 'Remittance Festival 2025' on the occasion of Eid-Ul Fitre at the bank's boardroom using a digital platform on Tuesday. Managing Director of the bank Sanchia Binte Ali was present at the event. The 'Remittance Festival 2025' organised by the BKB started on March 01 and it will continue until April 15, 2025. A lottery draw will be held in every 15 days, with a total of 31 attractive prizes with a moto bike as the mega price to be awarded to winners throughout the festival. BKB has collected Tk 15,025.92 crore in remittances through 1,642,782 customers as of March 16, 2025, for the fiscal year 2024-25. BKB Deputy Managing Directors Md A Rahim and Khan Iqubal Hossain were present on the occasion. Moreover, some exchange companies from different countries, all divisional general managers, chief regional managers/regional managers and branch managers were virtually connected on the event.
