BRAC Bank has appointed Monzula Morshed as deputy managing director and chief human resources officer.
Her appointment will be effective from Sunday. She will also serve as a member of the bank's management committee, according to a press release.
Monzula brings over 25 years of distinguished experience as a people and organisational leader across telecommunications, manufacturing, banking and FMCG sectors. She is widely recognised for driving strategic people agendas, leading large-scale organisational transformations, and building future-ready capabilities within institutions she served.
Commenting on the leadership appointment, Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, managing director and CEO of BRAC Bank, said, "The appointment of Monzula, a seasoned HR professional, shows our strategic intent to transform the bank as we aim to become the most trusted, innovative and inclusive bank. Her professional journey is underpinned by a strong academic and executive development foundation. She holds an MBA and a BBA from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, and has completed executive leadership and advanced HR programmes at non-profit business school INSEAD, London Business School and the University of Oxford.
