BRAC BANK HOSTS ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING CONFERENCE

BRAC Bank organised an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) conference on the theme of 'Contemporary Risks & Challenges' recently. The conference is part of the bank's ongoing initiatives to keep its colleagues informed and up-to-date with the latest regulations and best practices of anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT). AFM Shahinul Islam, Head of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), attended the conference as the chief guest. Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director & CEO (Current Charge); Chowdhury Moinul Islam and Deputy Managing Director & CAMLCO, BRAC Bank; were also present. Some 180 senior officials of the bank attended the daylong conference held at a hotel in Dhaka.
