BRAC Bank supports 10,500 families through Bidyanondo Foundation

BRAC Bank collaborated with Bidyanondo Foundation for providing food to the community that has been worst affected by COVID-19. The bank has contributed Tk 5.0 million for this purpose. Through this effort, Bidyanondo Foundation will provide food to around 10,500 families in remote locations across the country. A family of five will get food supply for at least 10 days, it said. Bidyanondo Foundation’s food packages include basic food items such as rice, pulses, gram, oil, flour etc. Selim R. F. Hussain, Managing Director and CEO of the bank, said, "We are greatly inspired by the commendable work of Bidyanondo Foundation, especially under the current scenario. People across all walks of life deserve support during this difficult time. That is why BRAC Bank is proud to join hands with organisations like Bidyanondo Foundation."
