BRAC EPL INVESTMENTS, IMPACT INVESTMENT EXCHANGE TO PIONEER ORANGE BONDS

BRAC EPL Investments Limited (BEIL), a leading investment bank in Bangladesh, has recently signed a strategic MoU with Impact Investment Exchange (IIX), a global leader in gender-lens investing, to launch Bangladesh's first orange bonds, orange sukuk and other thematic impact-investment instruments. The collaboration combines BEIL's capital market expertise with IIX's leadership in innovative finance to facilitate Bangladesh's LDC graduation by 2026. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof Durreen Shahnaz, founder & CEO, IIX, and Fahima Choudhury Keya, chairman, BEIL.
