Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills (BSRM) Monday made a flying debut on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) by becoming the top gainer and turnover leader although the company's third quarter net profit declined sharply.
The Chittagong-based steel manufacturing conglomerate's share closed at Tk 78 on the DSE, registering an increase of 123 per cent from its offer price of Tk 35, according to the DSE website information.
Some 5.81 million shares worth Tk 444.13 million were exchanged on the DSE trading floor, which is around 7.28 per cent of the total turnover of Tk 3.23 billion.
