Chairman of Standard Chartered in town

Sir John Peace, Chairman of Standard Chartered PLC arrived here Wednesday for a 2-day official visit to Bangladesh. During this visit, Sir John Peace will meet senior officials of the Government, and clients and staff of Standard Chartered Bank. Sir John Peace is accompanied by Sunil Kaushal, Regional CEO, India and South Asia for Standard Chartered Bank

Sir John was appointed Chairman of the Board of Standard Chartered PLC in 2009, after having joined the board in 2007 as Deputy Chairman.

Sir John was knighted in 2011 for services to business and the voluntary sectors. He is also the Chairman of Burberry Group PLC and Experian PLC.     — Press Release
