City Bank signs bancassurance deal with Reliance Insurance

City Bank has signed an agreement with Reliance Insurance Limited to sell non-life insurance policies through bancassurance. Mashrur Arefin, managing director and CEO of City Bank, and Md Khaled Mamun, chief executive officer of Reliance Insurance, signed the agreement. It allows City Bank customers to purchase Reliance Insurance products directly from the bank, following the bancassurance guidelines set by Bangladesh Bank and IDRA.
