Community Bank donates Tk 3m for flood victims
Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has contributed Tk 3.0 million to the Chief Advisor's Relief and Welfare Fund to stand by the flood-affected people under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme. Faruk-e-Azam, Adviser to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, received a pay order from Md. Hasnat Khan Rezvi, Member of the Sustainable Finance Unit of Community Bank, and Dedarul Karim of the Marketing Department on Tuesday. In addition to this, the employees of Community Bank Bangladesh have already contributed a fund equivalent to their one day's salary to the Chief Adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund.
