Listed companies which recommended dividend in last week have displayed mixed performance in earnings for the year ended on June 30, 2017.
A total of 38 companies have disclosed financial statements in last week. The companies of engineering sector have showed comparatively better performance in earnings.
The companies, other than multinational ones, have recommended dividends ranging 10 per cent to 125 per cent dividend in the form of cash or stock or both.
Of the companies, the EPS of Malek Spinning Mills has declined to Tk. 1.05 for the year ended on June 30, 2017 from Tk 1.52 calculated for same period of the previous year. The company has recommended 10 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2017.
