Credit Rating Information and Services Limited ( CRISL), the oldest and largest rating agency of the country, has been adjudged the best credit rating company of Bangladesh by the renowned international financial journal and research publication 'The Asset Limited', and awarded the prestigious " The Asset's Triple A Award", 2023 recently.
This is for the fifth time that CRISL obtained such recognition. Earlier in 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022 CRISL was awarded ''The Asset Triple A award" by the same organization for being the best credit rating company of Bangladesh.
The Asset's Triple A award represents Asia's most prestigious awards for banking, finance, treasury, trade, capital market and rating agencies who have excelled in their respective fields over a considerable period of time.
Established in 1995, CRISL is the pioneer in establishing credit rating practices in Bangladesh and have rated more than 70,000 entities and have exposures so far covering the entire financial sector including banks, non-bank financial institutions, insurance companies, corporate houses, bonds, real estates, SMEs etc.
CRISL is the lone ISO (ISO 9001:2015) certified company of the country. It also obtained Bangladesh Best Brand Award by CMO Asia in 2019.
