Chittagong Stock Exchange and LankaBangla Securities have jointly launched 'Stock Paathshala', the first virtual trading simulator in Bangladesh recently. CSE Managing Director Md. M. Shaifur Rahman Mazumdar, Executive Directors of BSEC, ATM Tariquzzaman and Saifur Rahman were present, among others, in the launching session held on the second day of Capital Market & Investment Fair at GEC Convention Center, Chittagong. The simulator will provide real time trading experience virtually so that a user may practice trading of stocks without financial risk. It will contribute to the ongoing effort of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission to promote financial literacy program and digital goal of the country. The simulator is expected to educate new investors prior to investments in the stock market and will help to enhance market participation and create well informed investors. Stock Paathshala is solely designed for educational purposes of the new and potential investors prior to investments in the stock market which will help to enhance market participation, said Khandoker Saffat Reza, CEO of LankaBangla Securities Limited.
