DSE, CSE trading resumes today

Trading and official activities on both the bourses---Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) will resume today (Tuesday) after a six-day vacation, officials said.
Trading will start to its previous normal time schedule (10:30am to 2:30pm) while official activities will continue from 9:30am to 5:30pm.
The country's twin bourses were remained closed from October 24 to October 29, 2012 on the occasion of Durga Puja, Eid-ul-Azha and weekly holydays.
Meanwhile, Dhaka stocks posted 59.07 points or 1.31 per cent gain to close at 4,574.97 in the last trading session before six-day vacation as a section of investors went for buying shares amid fresh optimism.
The broader All Shares Price Index (DSI) gained 46.98 points or 1.22 per cent to 3,867.51. The DSE-20 Index comprising blue chips also closed 44.11 points or 1.26 per cent up to close at 3,521.68.
