DSE gets new CFO

Sattique Ahmed Shah joined Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) as chief financial officer (CFO) on Thursday, the premier bourse said in a statement. Before joining DSE, Mr Sattique was the additional CFO of ETV (Ekushey Television), a concern of S. Alam Group. Mr. Sattique has around 22 years of working experiences with different renowned companies of Bangladesh. He worked as GM-head of group audit and internal control in Concord Group. He also brings experiences of working with Gemcon Group, Bengal Group, Opsonin Pharma and Square Textiles. Mr. Sattique started his career as an executive (Finance & Accounts Department) with the Square Textiles, a subsidiary of Square Group in 2001. He has an MBA (Finance), CA-CC, M.Com and B.Com (Accounting), including other professional courses. The CFO post of DSE remained vacant for about eight months after Abdul Matin Patwary resigned from the post in October 2021.
