Disbursement of dividend

Mercantile Bank Limited: The company has informed that the bonus shares of the company for the year ended on December 31, 2017 have already been credited through CDBL to the respective shareholders' BO Accounts. The cash dividend warrant has also been disbursed.

Bay Leasing & Investment Limited: The company has informed that it has credited the bonus shares for the year ended on December 31, 2017 to the respective shareholders' BO Account on May 24, 2018.

Response to DSE query

Legacy Footwear Limited: In response to a DSE query dated May 20, 2018, Legacy Footwear Limited has informed that there was no undisclosed price sensitive information for recent unusual price hike of shares. Furthermore, the company has also requested the investors not to bring rumors into consideration before investing their funds. This unusual trade volume and price hike is quite abnormal considering the current market situation. Therefore, the company requested the investors to assess actual situation before any investment.

DSEMGT to buy shares of The ACME Laboratories Limited

DSEMGT will buy 10,000 shares of The ACME Laboratories Limited from BUYIN Market Thursday. Willing seller(s) are requested to intimate DSE clearing house prior to placing sale order. BSEC imposes

chairman, directors of Bangladesh Autocars

BSEC has imposed fine of Tk 0.1 million each to the following chairman/directors of Bangladesh Autocars Ltd. namely Mohammad Murad (Chairman), Ms. Rina Mamtaz, (Managing Director), Ms. Rehmat Banu (Director), Ms Fahra Murad (Director) and Mr. Rahim Murad (Director) for non-compliance with the securities related laws. However, the scrip is suspended in CSE.

Spot trading

Trading of the shares of Eastern Insurance Company Limited, Asia Pacific General Insurance Company Limited and Phoenix Insurance Company Limited will be allowed only in the spot market from May 27, 2018 to May 28, 2018 as the record date of the company is on May 29, 2018.
