DU, Janata Jute Mills sign MoU

The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Dhaka University (DU) and Janata Jute Mills Ltd. signed on Wednesday an MoU to promote research on jute.
Chairman of the Department Prof. Dr. Yearul Kabir and Managing Director of Janata Jute Mills SK. Bashir Uddin signed the MoU at the Vice-Chancellor's Lounge. DU VC Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman was present as the chief guest.
As per the MoU, the Janata Jute Mills will provide funds for conducting research on jute.
