Eastland Insurance Co holds Annual Confce-21

The Annual Conference-2021 of Eastland Insurance Company Limited was held at the auditorium of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industries (DCCI) on Saturday, says a statement.

Mahbubur Rahman, Chairman of the company, inaugurated the conference. Distinguished members of the Board Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Alhaj Mohd. Arshad Ali and Mahbub Jamil were also present in the conference and delivered their valuable speech.

The Chairman expressed gratitude to the Almighty Allah whose divine blessings helped the company to achieve 73 per cent business target set for the year 2020 amid the devastating effect of 'Covid-19' pandemic which caused death of more than 1.0 million human beings worldwide, along with trillion-trillion dollar financial losses of the world economy.

He appreciated the management team, including all executives and employees of the company for rendering industrious efforts for business promotion, thereby attaining significant achievements during the pandemic effect of Covid-19.

The Chairman further expressed his confidence that the management shall continue to be unabated and business of the company will be raised in coming days, In sha-Allah.

The Chairman repeated his call to the participants to strictly maintain health instructions during Covid-19 and observe relevant Rules and Regulations of the Regulators while doing business so as to uphold the image and goodwill of the company.

The Chairman also stated that the Eastland Insurance Company has passed 34 years of its successful operation and since attained the height of sound financial strength and enviable goodwill.

The Chairman distributed incentives to the successful executives and officials for their outstanding performances. Directors present at the conference also spoke.

Abdul Hamid FCA, Addl. MD & CFO, and other senior executives of the company also delivered their speech in the conference.
