Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) held its 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on a digital platform on Thursday. The AGM approved a 28% dividend -- 25% cash and 3% stock dividend -- for the year ended December 31, 2025. EBL Chairman Md. Showkat Ali Chowdhury presided over the AGM attended by Directors Anis Ahmed, Salina Ali, K.J.S. Banu, Gazi Md. Shakhawat Hossain, Mufakkharul Islam Khasru, Mahreen Nasir, Md. Abdur Rahim, Khondkar Atique-e-Rabbani and Masih Malik Chowdhury. EBL Managing Director Hassan O. Rashid and Company Secretary Md. Abdullah Al Mamun were also present.
