EBL opens Korea Business Desk

Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) has launched a dedicated Korea Business Desk at its head office in Gulshan, Dhaka. The desk was inaugurated by Park Young-sik, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bangladesh, during a seminar co-sponsored by EBL at a city hotel on Wednesday. Mohsina Yasmin, executive member, International and Local Investment Promotion, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA); Samsoo Kim, head of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA); Shahab Uddin Khan, president of the Korea-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KBCCI); Yong Oh Yu, president of the Korean Community; and Ahmed Shaheen, additional managing director of EBL, were present.
