Expatriates can open account using Sonali eSheba and Sonali e-Wallet

Financial Institutions Division Secretary Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah inaugurates new digital services of Sonali Bank at a programme held in the capital on Sunday. Chairman of Sonali Bank Ziaul Hasan Siddiqui and CEO and Managing Director Md Afzal Karim were also present.

Sonali Bank Limited is working to be an active partner to build a 'Smart Bangladesh', says a press release.
To this end, Sonali Bank has introduced new digital banking services for its clients. Expatriates can open a bank account with Sonali Bank and carry out transactions by using 'Sonali eSheba' and 'Sonali e-Wallet' mobile app as well as iOS operating version in their host country.
At a function held in the city on Sunday, Financial Institutions Division Secretary of Finance Ministry Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah inaugurated the new digital services to ensure smart banking services round the clock, especially for the working people in different country across the globe. From now on, Sonali bank clients can carry out their transactions and purchase goods services using QR code from different shops and malls.
Sonali Bank Limited CEO & Managing Director Md Afzal Karim presided over the programme while chairman of Board of Directors of the bank Ziaul Hasan Siddiqui, Additional secretary of Financial Institution Division Md. Harun ur Rashid Mollah, Mafiz Uddin Ahmed, Amal Krishna Mandal, were present as special guest.
Among others, Members of Board of directors, Deputy Managing Directors, General Managers of head office and others high officials were also present.
