The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) on Saturday requested the interim government to ensure safety and security of businesses to maintain economic growth.
During a courtesy call on newly appointed Home Adviser Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury at his Baridhara residence in the capital, FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam made the request and discussed business and economic issues.
He stressed on keeping the supply chain stable, ensuring safety in industrial hubs, and stopping extortion on roads and highways and sought government cooperation in this regard.
The Adviser assured the apex trade body leader of providing safety of all the citizens as well as the business community of the country as his assigned responsibility.
