FE journalist wins ERF-Robi Award

Economic Editor of The Financial Express AZM Anas has won ERF-Robi Award along with three journalists in the annual competition of the Economic Reporters Forum (ERF). Finance Minister AMA Muhith handed over the prizes among the winners in a function of ERF Friday night. Journalists Shah Alam Khan and Mizan Chowdhury of Jugantor and Abdul Kayuum Tuhin of Channel 24 also won the awards in different categories. Mobile operator Robi is the sponsor of the awards. Weekly Holiday Editor Syed Kamaluddin and late journalist of Ittefaq Nazimuddin Mostan received special awards in the programme in recognition to their outstanding contribution in country’s business journalism over the decades, according to a press release of Robi. Noted economist Wahiududdin Mahmud and former finance advisor Mirza Azizul Islam were also present on the occasion.
