FIs donate Tk 17.20m to Lib War Museum

Bangladesh Leasing and Finance Companies Association (BLFCA) and Financial Institution Promoters Association (FIPA) Saturday jointly donated Tk 17.20 million to develop Liberation War Museum. Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr Atiur Rahman formally handed over the cheque to the Trustee of the Museum Sarwar Ali in a programme on the day. BB Deputy Governor SK Sur Chowdhury, BLFCA president Asad Khan and FIPA president M Matiul Islam were also present on the occasion, said a statement. Bangladesh Bank motivated the companies to donate the funds under the ethos of corporate social responsibility (CSR). The BB Governor thanked the companies.
