Fresh investments to empower Pikaboo.com

Domestic e-commerce site Pikaboo.com has dispelled the rumour that it is closing down its business.

"Our company is not closing down the businesses, rather it has become even stronger with new investments. At the same time, the site is changing a lot. Pickaboo is coming to a completely different level with new website, new app and new product lines," a statement of the company said on Saturday.

Pickaboo was just an e-commerce platform. From now on, the site will be transformed into a marketplace. Currently, the last phase of the work is underway and in January of the new year Pickaboo will unveil 'many new' things.

It is learned that new investment has come from domestic and overseas in Pickaboo. As a result, the rumor in the market that 'Pickaboo is closing down' will be eliminated, authorities said.

When asked about the issue, CEO of Pickaboo.com Morin Hossain Talukder said, new investment will be used to develop our customer service, product collection and technology. We will launch new platform which will serve B2B and B2C functionalities. Besides new product category will be launched soon.

Morin Hossain said, Pickaboo is the only online marketplace who ensures best quality product with faster delivery. We are also planning for same day delivery in Chittagong by early next year.

He also said, Pickaboo is the most popular platform for selling mobile phone and gadget. Faster delivery quality product has made Pickaboo as the most favourite platform for customers.
