The managing director of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has laid importance on proper investment of small savings to achieve the desired target of the economic development, a release said.
He also said the country's capital market has a vast prospect which is linked with the economic development.
The DSE managing director said this on Sunday while addressing at the closing ceremony of the Global Money Week, 2019 held at Daffodil International University.
"The countries of large economy are coming to our capital market considering its importance. We should work together for further development of the capital market," DSE managing director K. A. M. Majedur Rahman said.
SK Sur Chowdhury , an adviser to the Bangladesh Bank, attended the programme as chief guest.
Mr. Sur said more seminars, workshops, and awareness programmes should be held on global money week.
Md. Sabur Khan, the Chairman of Daffodil International University and Daffodil Family, chaired the closing ceremony of Global Money Week.
