Govt nods import of 188m eggs

The government has given permission for import of 188 million eggs through 42 designated firms in a move aimed at stabilising the local egg market, reports BSS.
The Ministry of Commerce gave the approval on Tuesday with a view to ensuring the availability of this essential commodity.
This import permission will expire on January 31, 2025.
