GP approves 250pc cash dividend

The 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Grameenphone Ltd was held Tuesday on digital platform.

The AGM approved 250 per cent cash dividend for the shareholders, according to a statement.

For 2021, the Board of Directors of Grameenphone Ltd. has announced a final dividend in cash at the rate of 125 per cent of the paid-up capital, or BDT 12.50 per share of BDT 10 each.

With this cash dividend pay-out, the total cash dividend stands at 250 per cent of the paid-up capital, including the previous 125 per cent interim cash dividend pay-out, representing 98.91 per cent of the Profit After Tax for the year 2021.
