Green Delta Insurance declares 25pc dividend

The 37th annual general meeting (AGM) of Green Delta Insurance Company Limited was held on Sunday on a virtual platform. The meeting was presided over by Abdul Hafiz Chowdhury, chairman of the company, while Farzanah Chowdhury, MD and CEO of Green Delta Insurance, was present. The company has declared a 25 per cent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year ended on December 31, 2022.

The announcement was made at the 37th annual general meeting (AGM) of the company held on a virtual platform on Sunday, said a press release.

The meeting was presided over by Abdul Hafiz Chowdhury, chairman of the company.

The chairman appreciated the shareholders for their continuous support and cooperation towards the growth of the company and thanked the members of Green Delta family who have invested their sincerest efforts in ensuring uninterrupted and seamless customer service and business operations during the economic turmoil faced by the businesses.

Farzanah Chowdhury, Chartered Insurer, MD and CEO of Green Delta Insurance, thanked all the shareholders for helping Green Delta Insurance to march ahead in the industry and secure the top position.

Besides, expressing her high hopes about the future of the company riding on a diverse service portfolio featuring comprehensive digitalised solutions, automated customer service, agriculture insurance, etc., Ms. Chowdhury promised to drive continuous innovation and provide best in class service to ensure financial stability and sustainable growth of the company.

Advisor and Founding Managing Director of Green Delta Insurance Nasir A. Choudhury also spoke at the event.
