The Green Delta Securities Ltd. has recently inaugurated its first-ever Digital Trading Booth at Dhanmondi in Dhaka.
This is also the first of its kind established by a brokerage house in the capital city, says a statement.
Dr. Shaikh Shamsuddin Ahmed, commissioner, Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), inaugurated the digital booth virtually as the chief guest on July 15.
Asif Ibrahim, chairman, Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd., was present as special guest and Mamun-Ur-Rashid, managing director, Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd., as the guest of honour at the event.
Nasiruddin Ahmad Chowdhury, chairman, Green Delta Securities Ltd., Farzanah Chowdhury, Director, Green Delta Securities Ltd., and Wafi Shafique Menhaz Khan, managing director & CEO, Green Delta Securities Ltd., were also present at the inaugural event.
Wafi S M Khan said, "Our digital booth is digitally designed so that investors can easily trade stocks. The booths are equipped with computers and tabs produced by a prominent local electronic manufacturing company."
This Digital Booth is fully facilitated with all modern facilities where an investor can enjoy all the brokerage facilities even without visiting the booth physically. Online BO account opening, cloud facility, including fund requisition process, online deposit facility, and many more facilities are offered by this digital booth.
Last year, the capital market regulator allowed stockbrokers to open Digital Booths at home and abroad. The Green Delta Securities Limited, a member of both DSE and CSE, opened the digital booth at Dhanmondi (Bikalpo Tower, 5/A, Satmasjid Road, Dhaka -1209) under CSE.
