The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) in Bangladesh has re-launched its HSBC Select proposition - to meet the changing needs of it's aspirational and globally connected retail banking customers. The new services and offers were announced by the bank at an event titled 'Noboborsher Notun Shajey - HSBC Select' recently, where retail banking customers celebrated the beginning of Bangla new year with a traditional carnival and musical evening.

HSBC Select customers will now be able to access a new range of lifestyle offers and savings products, as well as more easily manage their children's overseas study related finances and international remittances.

HSBC's international network makes it the bank of choice for students planning to study overseas. HSBC Select customers will now be able to access a unique Student File Service, which offers swift fund transfers and easier overseas fee payments at key education destinations where HSBC is present.

Non-resident Bangladeshi Select customers will also be able to take advantage of a wider range of banking services, remit their earnings home and enjoy investing in government approved investment products.

An array of special lifestyle offers will be unlocked by presenting a HSBC Select Visa debit card - from invitations to exclusive events to lifestyle, dining, shopping, healthcare and leisure privileges and discounts at various outlets in Bangladesh and abroad.

HSBC Select customers will benefit from the personal care of their dedicated customer Relationship Manager, to meet their unique financial needs and assist them with future planning.

Commenting on the revived proposition, Francois de Maricourt, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bangladesh said, "We aspire to support our customers every step of the way to make banking - at home and overseas - simpler, better and faster. As the leading international bank in Bangladesh, we will continue to meet the needs of the customers and communities we serve today, whilst working to build the bank of the future."

Ahmed Saiful Islam, Country Head of Retail Banking, HSBC Bangladesh, also spoke on the occasion and said, "Our enhanced offerings for HSBC Select customers have been carefully designed to meet the needs of Bangladesh's high net worth and globally-connected customer segment. With the HSBC Select relaunch, our retail banking business is committed to support this exclusive group of customers to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions."
