IBBL holds meeting on Shariah compliance

Dhaka North Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organised a discussion titled "Compliance of Shariah in the Banking Operations" and a get-together of clients at the bank's Savar branch recently, said a statement.
Md. Syful Islam, FCA, FCMA, director of the bank, addressed the programme as chief guest while Dr. Hasan Mohammad Moinuddin, member of the Shariah Supervisory Committee, addressed as chief discussant.
Md. Shamsul Huda, executive vice president of the bank, addressed the programme as special guest, presided over by Md. Aminur Rahman, Senior Vice President and Head of Dhaka North Zone.
The meeting discussed the duties and responsibilities of the bankers and clients for compliance of Shariah.
Businesspeople and employees of the bank attended the programme.
