Zillur Rahman, Chairman, Audit Committee of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited, speaking as the chief guest at a discussion titled "Compliance of Shariah in the Banking Operations" and clients' get-together organised by the bank's Bogura Zone at a convention centre in Bogura recently Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL), Bogura Zone, organised a discussion titled "Compliance of Shariah in the Banking Operations" and clients' get-together at a convention centre in Bogura recently, according to a statement.
Dr. Md. Zillur Rahman, Chairman, Audit Committee of the bank, addressed the programme as chief guest while Moulana Mohiuddin Rabbani, member of the Shariah Supervisory Committee, addressed as chief discussant.
Presided over by Md. Motiar Rahman, Executive Vice President and Head of Bogura Zone, the programme was addressed by Md. Shamsul Huda, Executive Vice President of the bank, and Tahera Rahman, business person and social organiser, as special guests.
The meeting discussed the duties and responsibilities of the bankers and clients for compliance of shariah. Business persons and employees of the bank attended the programme.
