The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) launched its much-anticipated Coffee Table Book at a ceremony held at the ICAB Auditorium at CA Bhaban in Dhaka on Wednesday.
ICAB President N K A Mobin formally unveiled the cover of the 'ICAB Coffee Table Book: Legacy in Motion', a landmark publication that chronicles the Institute's remarkable journey, achievements, and contributions to the accountancy profession in Bangladesh, says a press release.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, "This Coffee Table Book is a reflection of ICAB's proud heritage, professional excellence, and unwavering commitment to public interest. It captures the milestones that have shaped our Institute and inspires future generations of Chartered Accountants to uphold the highest standards of integrity, competence, and leadership."
Speaking on the occasion, Ala Uddin, Chairman of the Editorial Board and Council Member of ICAB, highlighted the Institute's contribution to the development of the accountancy profession and the national economy.
The publication celebrates ICAB's enduring legacy and highlights the people, achievements, and transformative initiatives that have strengthened the profession over the decades and reflects the Institute's journey of excellence and its vision for the future under the theme "Legacy in Motion."
Mohammad Moin Uddin Riad, Convener of the Members Affairs Committee of ICAB and Council Member, delivered the welcome address. Parveen Mahmud, Past President of ICAB, also spoke.
At the programme, ICAB Strategic Digital Transformation Initiatives were also inaugurated which includes ICAB Infrastructure Modernization, Mobile App - CA Connect, Professional Clearance Automation - Clear Path, Document Verification System (DVS) upgradation, student Registration Automation - Smart Enroll, Professional Experience Record Portal - Experience Hub, and Automated Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Platform - CPD 360.
