ICAB team meets CIPFA members in the UK

A two-member delegation of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), led by its President Maria Howlader, recently held a meeting with the team of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), UK at the Chartered Accountants' Hall in London, UK. The other member of ICAB delegation was Chief Operating Officer Mahbub Ahmed Siddique. The CIPFA team members were Steve Watkins, Senior Lead International Partnership; and Cal Hager, International Policy Manager of CIPFA. The ICAB delegates discussed a wide range of professional issues, including Joint Certification Program between ICAB and CIPFA on Public Sector Financial Management (PASFM) for ICAB Members and the students, strengthening the mutual collaboration between the two Institutes, and the initiative to work on the current and up-coming PSFM projects in Bangladesh.
