The Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) has secured the 1st position in the 'Non-Banking Financial Institution' category for the successful implementation of the e-Governance and Innovation Action Plan 2023-24. The recognition was conferred by the Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance. In addition, ICB's innovative initiative for issuing income tax-related certificates has been selected as the 'Best Initiative' in the Innovation Showcasing 2024-25. The award ceremony was held at the Multipurpose Hall of the Finance Division recently. Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Finance Adviser, presented the crest and certificate of appreciation to Niranjan Chandra Debnath, Managing Director of ICB. The event was also attended by Dr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser, and Nazma Mobarek, Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division.
