ICMAB arranges discussion on budget

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) organised a post-budget discussion on National Budget 2018-2019 on Monday at the ICMAB Ruhul Quddus Auditorium in the city, said a statement.

Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, MP, Minister of Housing & Public Works, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh attended the Session as Chief Guest while Mr. C. Q. K. Mustaq Ahmed, Chairman, Financial Reporting Council (FRC) was present as Special Guest.

President of ICMAB Mr. Mohammed Salim FCMA presided over the programme.

Mr. Khondkar Ibrahim Khaled, Former Deputy Governor, Bangladesh Bank, Dr. Jamaluddin Ahmed FCA, Member, Board of Directors, Bangladesh Bank & Past President, ICAB, Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur, Executive Director, Policy Research Institute, Dr. Mohammed Helal Uddin, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, University of Dhaka and Mr. Kanan Kumar Roy, Member (Tax Policy), National Board of Revenue (NBR) spoke on the occasion as commentators on the paper.
