ICMAB organises grand reception for qualified students

ICMAB President Md Abdur Rahman Khan seen, among others, at a grand reception programme organised by ICMAB for the newly-qualified students for the CMA September 2023 Examination at its Ruhul Quddus Auditorium in the city recently.

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has recently organised a grand reception programme for the newly-qualified students for the CMA September 2023 Examination at its Ruhul Quddus Auditorium, Nilkhet Dhaka, said a press release.

In the CMA September 2023 Examination, 15 students have been successfully qualified. All these students joined the event along with their family and closest ones. Members and students of the Institute also took part in the event to congratulate and celebrate their success.

ICMAB President Md Abdur Rahman Khan applauded the newly-passed CMAs for their hard work and efforts to become part of the CMA family. He encouraged them to continue the development process to become successful CMA professionals by focusing on standardised professional services and an ethical code of conduct.

Md Kausar Alam, Secretary of ICMAB, extended his heartfelt gratitude to congratulate all the newly qualified students. He welcomed all the guests, past presidents, council members, and others in the programme. He also welcomed all newly-qualified CMAs in the CMA fraternity.

Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, vice-president of ICMAB, motivated newly-qualified CMAs emphasising soft skill development. He added that all the CMAs should work properly and enact their obtained professional degree to achieve the optimum profits for the organisation which they work for. He opined that they should not only focus on cost minimisation but rather ensure the profit maximisation of the organisation.

He appreciated and saluted the CMA's parents, spouses, and other family members for their entire support and efforts rendered to the CMAs for assisting in achieving this prestigious degree. To be part of the elite society, you have to bring changes in your behavior, he added.

Jamal Ahmed Choudhury, past president and present council member, encouraged the newly qualified CMAs that they are in the Elite Class people of the country and that they need to remember this forever. He also mentioned that Accountant Professionals are bound by a code of ethics. He said that there are only 1800 CMAs in the country of 18 crore people, which is very insignificant compared to the demand.
