A high-level delegation from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), led by its President Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, paid a courtesy call on Dr Md Sajjad Hossain Bhuiyan, newly-appointed Chairman of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), at his office on Monday. The ICMAB delegation congratulated Dr Bhuiyan on his appointment and expressed confidence in his visionary leadership. The delegation underscored the need to broaden the implementation of Cost Audit practices and sought FRC's active support in institutionalising these measures. Also present at the meeting were Mohammed Jahangir Alam, Council Member, and Md Mahbub-Ul-Alam, Executive Director of ICMAB.
