Council Members of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB), led by its President Muzaffar Ahmed FCMA, FCS, called on Tapan Kanti Ghosh, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, at his office at Bangladesh Secretariat on Thursday. Md. Selim Reza FCS, Vice President, Mohammad Nurul Alam FCS, Council Member, Md. Sharif Hasan FCS, Council Member, Md. Shafiqul Alam ACS, Council Member, and Md. Shamibur Rahman FCS, Secretary (Acting) of the Institute, were present during the meeting. Council Members of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) led by its President, Muzaffar Ahmed FCMA, FCS called on Tapan Kanti Ghosh, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, at his office at Bangladesh Secretariat on Thursday.
On behalf of the Council the President congratulated him on assuming the office of the Secretary, Ministry of Commerce. Then the President introduced the council members to the secretary and apprised him about the various activities that ICSB undertook for professional development of its members as well as its future plans, said a statement.
Md. Selim Reza FCS, Vice President, Mohammad Nurul Alam FCS, Council Member, Md. Sharif Hasan FCS, Council Member, Md. Shafiqul Alam ACS, Council Member, and Md. Shamibur Rahman FCS, Secretary (Acting) of the Institute were present during the meeting.
The President requested the Commerce Secretary to provide adequate budget and other facilities to develop the institute. He also emphasized about the inclusion of Chartered Secretaries as Income Tax Practitioner (ITP).
