The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) organised a virtual CPD webinar on 'Recent Amendments to the Securities Laws: Focus on Corporate Governance' on Wednesday. Md. Abul Kalam, Director of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), presented the keynote paper on recent amendments to the securities laws in connection with corporate governance and other continuing compliances. M Nurul Alam, Acting President of ICSB, delivered the welcome speech, while Mohammed Harun-Ar-Rashid, Council Member and Member of Professional Development Sub-Committee (PDSC) of ICSB, chaired the webinar. Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Bhuiyan, Council Member and Chairman of the Examination Committee of ICSB, moderated the webinar.
