IIFC holds 25th annual general meeting

The 25th Annual General Meeting of Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC) was held at the IIFC Conference Room in Dhaka on Tuesday, with Md Shahriar Kader Siddiky, Chairman, IIFC, and Secretary, Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance, in the chair, says a statement.
Md Ehsanul Hoque, Senior Secretary, RTH Division and Bridges Division; Mohammed Yousuf, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Shipping; Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, Executive Chairman (Senior Secretary), Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA); Shish Haider Chowdhury, Secretary, ICT Division; Md Fahimul Islam, Secretary, Ministry of Railways; Dr AKM Shahabuddin, Additional Secretary and Wing Chief (World Bank), ERD; were present as subscriber members of the company.
Md. Hafizur Rahman, Administrator, FBCCI; and Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, PRAN-RFL Group; were present as directors of the company. AKM Fazlul Haque, Managing Director, IIFC; and Md Zasim Uddin, Executive Director (Finance & HR) and Company Secretary of IIFC; were also present.
IIFC is a government-owned consulting company in Bangladesh under Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance, which specialises in public private partnership (PPP), public procurement, research, survey and feasibility studies, financial and economic analysis, impact assessment, training and capacity building, institutional reforms, policy and advocacy.
IIFC works internationally. It was incorporated in 1999 as a company limited by guarantee under the Companies Act 1994.
