Intel launches NUC

Intel has introduced portable micro desktop -Next Unit of Computing (NUC) -- in the country with different varieties for different level customers.
The newly introduced NUC has some extra facilities including WiFi, personal cloud storage and home theatre along with as usual configuration, said the local officials of the Intel at a press conference in the city.
They said as a result of the micro PC, people can easily carry the product in their small bag and enjoy its facility by connecting any monitor that have USB port.
Country Business Manager for Intel in Bangladesh Zia Manzur said "NUC is a PC (Personal Computer) in a surprisingly small package that can serve as home theatre and also media server."
He said the price of the new product could vary a little as per the configuration. Mr Manzur hinted that the price range of core i3 micro PC will be US$400 to 550 (Tk31000 to 42000).
He also explained that the Intel NUC is the latest development of computer in ultra small form factor PC measuring 4-inch by 4-inch.
In performance regarding normal use, there is no difference between normal PC and the micro PC, he mentioned.
