Int’l tech confce for network engineers and professionals begins tomorrow

The country is going to host first ever international technology conference for the network engineers and professionals on May 19 in order to educate them regarding maintenance the internet protocol with highest protection.
Engineers mainly from different telecom operators, Banks, Garments, IT firms and corporate houses are taking part in the conference. Local and foreign resource persons will train the participants, said the organizers at a press conference in the city on Saturday.
Bangladesh Network Operators Group (bdNOG) is organizing the weeklong conference that will conclude on May 24 at the Goldwater Convention Centre of Bashundhara City  Tower. In the same time in same vanue, regional meeting of APNIC (Asia Pacific Network Information Centre) will be held also.
President of bdNOG Nurul Islam Roman said the conference is the opportunity for the Bangladeshi professionals, because participants cost such conference at abroad takes nearly 3 to 4 thousand dollar but here it is only Tk10,000.
"Fourteen foreign resource persons from Google, APNIC, ICANN, NSRC and Cisco, and 20 local experts will give their presentations and training to the participants in the conference," he mentioned.
Chairman of bdNOG Suman Ahmed Sabir give details of the event in the press conference and said this is highly technical programme and its importance so high for networking engineers.
He said "Nowadays the society evolving with the internet, so its security measures and smart uses need to protect the information and keep safe from cyber threat."
Secretary General of bdNOG Fakhrul Alam Pappu, executive member Simon Sohel Baroi and Mohammad Kawsar Uddin were present in the press conference.
